Saddle up, Ranchmen’s members! The 2025 Ranchmen's Stampede Artists lineup is here, and it's bringing the heat! Get ready to boot-scoot with the electrifying MEMPHIS AND THE GRANDE, the powerhouse vocals of Michela Sheedy, Kid Cali, where rock band meets art project in the most unexpected way and Crystal McGrath, a country-pop artist and change maker, known for her powerful songwriting and global stage presence.

MEMPHIS AND THE GRANDE

Memphis and the Grande is an original country rock band “kicking up new songs from the dirt road that feel like old friends.” The rest of The Grande come from diverse musical backgrounds to build a Calgary supergroup of sorts, including founding members of Calgary’s treasured The Dino Martini’s, Brent “B.K.” Kawchuk and Don “Big Bird” McSweeney, and gadabout "Dr. Szee" Mark Szavo. Michela Sheedy

If Chris Stapleton and Miley Cyrus had a punchy little love-child, the result would be Calgary-based country artist, Michela Sheedy. She’s one part endless party, one part unmitigated honesty, and known for her vocal cords of pure honey and whiskey. Michela has an uncompromising spirit that distinguishes her from the rest making her one of the genre’s most exciting new artists and relatable voices. The next big thing in country music turning the industry on its cowboy-booted heels.

Kid Cali

Kid Cali is as much an art project as it is a traditional rock band. The songs are all connected and centre around fictitious star- crossed lovers navigating the tail-end of the Summer of Love, searching for Kerouac’s American beauty, filtered through the lens of Easy Rider. The band has performed live three times; once for the Prose and Pros category at the Ship and Anchor Song Contest finals, opening for Bobby Tenderloin Universe on the patio of Broken City and as a duo at the King Eddy, where Rachel Notley could be seen dancing up front. The live shows are built to incorporate ever-changing band members, visual components and to never play the same way twice.

Crystal McGrath

Crystal McGrath is a dynamic musician, activist, author, and podcast host committed to inspiring and empowering others. With an accomplished career in country-pop rock, she has toured extensively across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, the U.K., and Australia. Her talents as a songwriter have been recognized with nominations for Songwriter of the Year and Country Single of the Year at the YYC Music Awards. Crystal has shared the stage with iconic artists like Jimmie Allen, Brett Kissel, George Canyon, Aaron Pritchett, and Nelly, showcasing her powerful stage presence alongside her evocative songwriting.
