Entrance doors to the Club open daily from 7:00am – to approximately 11:00pm, Monday to Saturday (If the activity volume is sufficient, private functions may be booked on Sundays and statutory holidays.). Hours beyond the stated times above are dependent upon the needs of the group and must be confirmed with the Senior Catering Coordinator as part of the catering contract details, but cannot exceed those hours as set out in the liquor license. The items presented are offered as a guideline - gourmet and specialty menus may also be custom-designed to meet your specific needs. Should your preference not appear on the menus provided, please call:

Customized menus can be created by Executive Chef, Kenneth Titcomb, for your event, once a booking has been made with the Catering Office.


The guaranteed number of persons for each function is required at least 2 business days prior to the function. If no guarantee is provided, the billing will be for the number of persons for whom the function was originally booked, or the actual number served, whichever is greater.


Should you wish to offer a choice between two different entrées or if a dietary or medical substitution is required, these can be arranged at least 2 business days prior at no extra charge. Please ensure a method of identifying which person is having which entrée is coordinated ahead of time with the Catering Department. If you are unable to provide us with these numbers in advance, a premium charge of $3 per person will be added to the menu price.


All food served at the Club is to be provided by The Ranchmen’s Club with the exception wedding cakes.
All prices are subject to a 18% service charge and 5% Goods and Service Tax.

Menu prices, service charges and tax are subject to change without notice to reflect current market conditions.


The Club reserves the right to relocate groups from their designated room, at any time without notice, in order to provide maximum efficiencies and for the comfort of all attendees. The Club reserves the right to charge a service fee for set-up of function rooms with extraordinary requirements.


Any function cancellations made within a week prior to the function date may result in a cancellation fee, the amount of which will be set by the Club on a case by case basis. In the case of “no shows” or function cancellations made 48 hours or less before the function date, a room charge and/or the full costs originally associated with the function may be charged to the member. 


The Ranchmen’s Club is pleased to receive and assist in the handling of boxes and packages. Due to the limited storage space we can accept shipments 2 days prior to the event. Please coordinate the pickup of items immediately following your event as the club is not responsible for damage to, or loss of, any articles left on the premises after an event. All deliveries must be properly labeled. Please include the name of the event, event contact, and the number of boxes and date of event.


Private function groups are required to inform all attendees of the dress code. As a minimum, “The Ranchmen’s Club” Smart Casual (optional jacket & tie) is allowed in all private function rooms. Outerwear including coats, hats, scarves and gloves must be left in the Lobby Cloakroom. Warm-up suits, sweatshirts, athletic shoes, t-shirts, tank tops, flip flops, apparel with slogans & commercial messages are not permitted. Inappropriate attire may result in refusal of entry into the building. See the full details of the Ranchmen's Club Dress Code.

Depending on location, coat racks may be made available for your group


It is up to the coordinator of each private function group to determine what is allowed with respect to personal electronic equipment being used in the private room. However, once out of the private room, or in the Club’s dining rooms or lounges, the following rules apply:

Cell telephones and hand-held electronic devices should be muted when entering the Club or set on vibrate. Ringing of cell phones and/or talking on cell phones in the Club’s lounges or dining rooms is not permitted (unless these rooms are being used for private functions). Blackberries and electronic tablets may be used discreetly. Cell phones may be used in the small telephone rooms strategically located on each floor. These telephone rooms are also equipped with a regular telephone, suitable for local calls. Laptop computers, tape recorders, cameras, or briefcases are not allowed in the Club’s lounges or dining rooms (unless these rooms are being used for private functions). Computers & printers with Internet access are available in the Club’s Business Centre located under the main staircase near the East entrance.


Our Club Services and Catering Manager and Catering Assistant can provide you with names of suppliers for extraordinary items, such as floral table arrangements, specialty linens and decor items and special audio visual equipment. When shipping supplies to the Club, in advance of your function, please ensure the Catering Department is aware of the date and time of arrival. Items will be placed in your function room on the day of your function. Cartons/ boxes should be addressed to “catering” and be identified by your group’s name and your function room location. Floral and wedding cake deliveries should arrive on the day of the function if possible, and be identified by the group name and your specific function room location. Any entertainment and AV load-in times must also be coordinated, in advance, with the Catering Department.


All live and taped entertainment/music is subject to SOCAN (Society of Composers, Authors, and Music Publishers of Canada) fees, and is charged at the prevailing rates; please consult with The Ranchmen’s Club catering team for the fees that apply to your specific event.
